Well done to the intrepid Eastwood 10-pin bowlers who overcame a plucky Bothwell & Uddingston to progress to the next stage of the Fellowship Trophy Challenge. The competition between Rotary Clubs in District 1230 demands that one club throws down the gauntlet to another in a challenge involving a sport of their choice.
Bothwell & Uddingston accepted Eastwood's challenge to a 10 pin bowling match at AMF Bowling at Glasgow Quay. Over two rounds of 10 ends each, the Eastwood team of Neil Briand, George Brunton, Steve Malloy and Ronnie Munn came out impressive winners with Ronnie getting the high scores, 136 and 125 respectively, in the two rounds. Ronnie is pictured here in full flow!
