Walk4Eastwood2016Our popular "Walk for Eastwood" returns for a second year  and will take place on Saturday 21st May, from 2pm at Rouken Glen Park.

Join us as we support the fantastic work of Russell MacMillan and his team at East Renfrewshire Good Causes (learn more here by clicking this link - ERGC ).

Last year we had walkers, horses, wheelchairs, skateboards... do it however you like and for as many laps as you like. It's all for a great cause.

saint-quentinWe are delighted to be sending a small group of Eastwood Rotarians to France in March.

This is a result of our twinning arrangement with the Rotary Club de Saint-Quentin Pastels based in the Picardy Region of France.

Every other year we take turns in visiting France or having the French visit with us and many wonderful, lasting friendships have been established through this twinning arrangement.

We look forward to anther enjoyable trip with our French friends. A longer report will be given on our return.

Our Antiques Valuation fundraiser for the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow raised £1,243 after all costs were deducted.

A huge thank you is owed to Anita Manning and the team from Great Western Auctions for all of their hard work on the day and to the Eastwood Rotary Club team for manning the car park, the cafeteria and the valuation room and keeping the crowds in check!

And a final thanks to East Renfrewshire Council for the venue, the beautiful Eastwood House.
