A big well done to Mearns Primary School who battled through no less than 5 tie-break questions against Our Lady of the Mission to emerge as this year's winners. In third place were last year's winners Carolside Primary School.

Mearns WinAfter 8 exhaustive rounds of questions on topics from science to entertainment, it took the very last of five tie break questions to separate the top two teams.

Here we see the winning children after being presented with their Victory Shield by Eastwood Rotary Club President Margaret MacDonald.

Many thanks to all of the teams who took part and their teachers -

Busby, Carolside, Kirkhill, Mearns, Neilston, Our Lady of the Mission, St Marks, St Thomas's, Springhill and Thornliebank.

And a thank you to the Rotary members who helped by invigilating, scoring and distributing the juice and crisps to the teams. A big final thank you to Carolside Primary for hosting the event and Eastwood Rotary's Rob Wilkinson for pulling it all together.
